Nevada-Utah-Wyoming

Mommy, it says here that the state flower of Nevada is sagebrush.  What is sagebrush?

Look around, Darlin’, look around.

Grace wrote in her journal, “Nevada is a desert.  And there are a lot of casinos.”

And that pretty much sums up Nevada.

In Utah, there was salt.

And in Salt Lake City, there was a free planetarium.

We stayed the second night in Middle of Nowhere, Wyoming.

We learned that Wyoming is the least populated state of America.

Yep.

I can tell you all are so excited about our trip so far.

I think the most interesting part was when we all did the Hokey Pokey, in the car.

But I don’t have a picture of that.

When we traveled through NE Wyoming when I was about 15, the only thing we could do to pass the time was have a gum chewing contest. We bought gum at one gas station, then shoved as many pieces into our mouths as possible before the next gas station. Kinda gross, but it passed the time! 🙂
Also, do you have pipe cleaners? Hours of road trip fun!

Looks like you missed some beautiful places in Wy. and Utah with the route you took, too bad of time restraints.
